Kildare lads, would Donnellan be regarded as much of an improvement on Connolly? Surprised McGeeney has gone with him, has a very experienced defence in front of him I suppose. Agree that Smith should be in full forward, especially with Brophy's height and build at 15.

Donnellan has huge potential but I'd feel safer with Connolly. Donnellan looked nervous in league semi and one kick-out gifted a point to Tyrone. Connolly is often criticised for just thumping his kick outs, but I just think he's more solid at this stage. If you look at the Cork debacle last year, we would have conceded three or four goals without him.

Donnellys Hollow

Connolly has never let Kildare down and is safe as houses under a high ball. I haven't seen a lot of Donnellan but he must be going well in training if he's keeping Connolly out of the team.
There's Seán Brady going in, what dya think Seán?

Interesting that the Offaly keeper and sub keeper appear to be from same club, not seen that before!

Plain of the Herbs

Mayo had two goalkeepers from Ballina Stephenites during the mid 00s, IIRC.

Offaly had two brothers as goalies in football and hurling- not sure if both sets were on the same county panels simultaneously though.
The Kelly boys of shamrocks and the Troy lads of lusmagh in football and hurling respectively.

Both sets competed for the gk position with their clubs.
