Quote from: clarshack on June 29, 2025, 06:21:58 PMMightn't be a bad time to play Kerry after their performance today. They'll be strong favourites now.
You'd imagine we'll be out on the 13th as it would be crazy to make Tyrone supporters travel on the 12th.

Hard to know as the same issue applies for Donegal.

would have thought donegal have a more friendly route towards dublin on the 12th that tyrone would have.

Mebbe Get bands from Moygashel and a few Lambeg drummers instead of Artane to scare crap out of Kerry? Otherwise Tyrone don't look favorites

Are there any twelfth parades in Aughnacloy, Armagh, Dungannon etc?

Will they just put the minors back a week and do a double header. Would make sense and give the lads a bigger day out!

Absolutely zero chance of that.

Absolutely not. They decoupled the U17 with seniors for a reason.

The minor final of 2021 was played before the senior semi v Kerry. Am I missing something? Why can't it be played beforehand?

I think it's just these joke accounts that the boys set up in IT class that try to take the piss on absolutely every subject

Because it's set for next Sunday in Newbridge. Get over it..

Tyrone in an All-Ireland semi-final, and the lads in here scoring points off each other...

I see O'Rourke speaking positively about McKernan's status — we'll need every candle in the county lit over the next fortnight.

Kerry had a real spell of dominance yesterday, but one performance doesn't make a team world-beaters. We'll go in as underdogs based on the respective performances at the weekend, but if you look at the squads 1–26, they're very similar in quality. Of course, you have to account for David Clifford, which tips the scales — there isn't a defender in the country fit to handle him.

The effectiveness of Gavin White transitioning from defence to attack yesterday can't be understated. He'll need to be a marked man the next day out to try and slow the fast breaks Kerry were getting.

I still think Donegal are the most complete outfit left in the competition, as much as it pains me to say. But that only speaks to how big an opportunity these lads have to get that fifth star — and they have all the attributes to do it.

Will probably give the train from Portadown a miss this time around.

Bodes well for a Tyrone crowd in holiday mood. Unfortunately getting a lend of the Lambeg from Sammy is unlikely.
