Against all odds? What are you judging that off?

Cathal McShane away from the panel

Has it been confirmed? Was wondering when that was going to happen, I assume he walked at lack of game time.

Not surprised either. Would he be 6th choice in the pecking order for the full forward line?

Tyrone need to find someone strong who can run at pace at a defense. My issue with our forward line is they are all exactly the same in Sparky, McCurry, 2x Canavans. All great quick players who will try and turn their maker. We need an option of a big strong full forward. Thought McShane should have came on against Armagh when it was clear that the Canavans were being well marked. I would have taken those 2 off and put on Sparky and McShane.

tiempo

Simply put, a forward in the mould of McKernan

Pretty pissed watching this Ulster final given that we gave Armagh every kick out in the semi. Armaghs kick outs look so ordinary when you actually man mark them.
Fantasy Rugby World Cup Champion 2011,
Fantasy 6 Nations Champion 2014

Been thinking the same. Poor from management.

Complete failure by management on kick outs and subs that day. They need to take serious learnings. Malachy isn't a new manager and should not be given as much leeway for such basic errors

Maybe he's not interested in Ulste title

Another great win for the u20s today. 3rd all Ireland final in 4 years is some going for Paul devlin! So it is.

Have said to people over the last couple of years we'll get another Senior by 2028. 5 in approx 25 years would be some return compared to what was achieved previously, and at this stage it would be a failure not to get it tbh after 3 U20 titles potentially in 4 seasons. I think we might get close this year but if not will get another Sam next year.

Would there still be a lack of height coming through? Joey Clarke, Daly, Mcelholm and Mccullagh stand out players but many of them in with a chance to break through

That's a real concern, everything in the garden is rosy, but especially with the new rules, you need plenty of big trees and I don't see too many coming through

Pity about McGleenans injuries
Hopefully Ruairi McHugh can kick on an in the next year or two

Conor O'Neill has been excellent all year and still underage next year. Can see him making an impact at 10 or 12 in the coming years but the point on a more general lack of height is well made. It'll be interesting to see if the rule changes bring any new players to the fore in club football over the next year.
