Ah right, so the way we deal with things in this county is, before any shred of evidence that the incident actually occurred, we start a whispering campaign on an online forum where, a fairly dubious, (to say the least) anonymous poster private messages everyone the name of a person so we can all sit in judgement. F**king wise up Fionntamhach, I thought you had more sense. IF this ever comes to light and he is proven guilty then we can take action, but until then I’ll leave my pitchfork in the shed and won’t be joining the vigilante group led by Southtyronegael.
Get a grip of yourself FFS! My point has nothing whatsoever to do with whatever whispers STG is spreading around, and I have no interest in knowing myself. It is the attitude that
if the Wylie brothers
were being subject to sectarian abuse in the All-Ireland semi-final that nothing needs to be done because they're "big boys". Whatever age level, be it under 8 or masters, it should not be acceptable especially considering the anti-bullying and mental health policies that all levels of the GAA have been engaging with in the last few years. Just to add, Eoghain Ruadh mentioned that at the All-Ireland Féile na nGael earlier this year that they were subject to sectarian abuse themselves. Like the rumoured Wylie bros story, that of Eoghain Ruadh and that involving the Tyrone & Donegal minor championship game a few years back, they are difficult to impossible to conclusively prove, but wherever it really did happen or was embellished, it shouldn't be happening in any place.
