I noticed that too with kennedy and i always would have said that current tyrone Panel is clustered with leaders. But it really made me think after seeing that.

Do we really?

Or was it just as simple as getting in the opponents heads. It could mean nothing maybe im looking into it too much.

Theres a time place and method for things like this, sending a togged out Kennedy to take the toss only makes the whole setup look stupid, this was devised as part of the pre-match, thought and planning went into it, time that would have been better spent preparing the team, or on the bog reading the Gaelic Life

Surely no harm in sending the captain to take the toss? Even more so when not togging out - means everyone else can focus on the warm up?

Walter White

Any confirmation of who has been called up from the U20s?

But he was togged out, John Terry style, long story short - embarrassing

For me this is not embarrassing. Can't actually believe someone would get annoyed about this

Tyrone lost because BK put shorts on, class

We had to beat Mayo in Omagh to secure passage to the QF and top the group

We sent the injured captain fully togged to take the toss as some sort of get in their head/ruse, then rolled over and had our bellies tickled

I'd expect more from an elite setup, it was mentally weak and embarrassing

Except they'd still have to have got something against Cavan to win the group or they could have overtaken them.

That is so true, better off losing to Mayo really when you think of it, job well done, to the moon 🚀

I agree, strange that this would annoy people - over all the other things that went wrong on the day.

ClubScene13

Wouldn't get that annoyed by it but it is needless.  In fairness to Kieran McGeeney the team he names normally takes the field. Same with the Munster and Leinster hurling finals over the weekend, the named players start, it is pure nonsense to name a dummy team before every game

Surprised to see two men added to the panel by Malachy

Ruairi McHugh
Conor Oneill

Was McHugh in the development squad? Has he been going well for the fianna?

Both men will hardly see game time, but perhaps an eye on next year. New rules suit both. Two quality players... Just a bit surprised at the timing

Has this been printed or just you heard it? Not doubting it of course. Conor Oneill underage next year for under 20s isn't he?
