Never heard of Gavin Traynor in my life. Obvious candidate is Paul Donaghy to get back involved. Paul still has a lot to prove at that level. He has been underwhelming in a Tyrone jersey (bar 1 game).

Rory Brennan would be great to see him back if he still has the ambition to play county ball.

Michael Conroy is probably worth looking at.

Possibly but in fairness to Donaghy he came in in 2021 when there was no McKenna Cup, only a handful of league games and then straight into a knockout championship. It was hard for a new player to establish himself in those circumstances. Its a pity he didn't hang about and have a few more years experience under his belt by this stage. No doubt he has been the stand out forward in club football in the past few seasons.

Also I dare say Cranagh_Bandit is on the wind up or getting bored in his summer holidays with some of the suggestions in his posts since signing up to the board.

Keeping Shea O'Hare and Eoin McElholm on Irish soil is another big priority for the new management. Tyrone in bad need of pace and creativity in their middle 8 and these two would be key to improving that.
Continuing to progress the U20s into the squad with game time also important as majority of the 2021 All Ireland team coming into their final few years.
Paul Donaghy an obvious one to try to call up again based on his form at club level and his age profile.
Rory Brennan and Mark Bradley will be 31 in 2025, have plenty to offer, question will be is the interest there.
Other than that, I can't think of anyone club wise who would be improvements on the likes of Aidan Clarke, Conall Devlin, Cormac Quinn, Joe Oguz, Ciaran Daly and the like who are there or there about on the starting team/subs. Don't think much point further bloating the squad with players of that same level.

I would add anytime I've seen Peter Teague in action I've been impressed
He got one start for the county at corner back FFS, and it wasn't pretty

But I'm convinced he would improve us in the half back line immediately, and upgrade on Burns, Mickey ONeill, Cormac Quinn etc

Re Conor Owens, I think he has surprise packet potential, even as a relatively late comer to Senior IC, a couple of years at club and then into the panel, I like the cut of his jib and I don't see the rush in having to be the next x y or z - i just think theres a serious player in there

What we absolutely need into the next 3-5 years, where we're in a state of flux with potential AI to be won, is that the likes of McCurry Harte Morgan and other fully seasoned players stay on to help with bringing lads through, ultimately those frontline lads won't like the prospect of bench time but a changing of the guard can hopefully happen without lads being left in too long or doing a hard exit, and critical to this is the balance between then getting games at club level if on the county bench, a few tweaks to keep lads on while also keeping everyone ticking over with games

M cassidy ardboe,rafferty galbally, munroes carrickmore could all be looked at again in defense. Was impressed with oisin mc cann in sigerson but not sure how he doing with killyclogher.

Getting just 2 or 3 of the walkaway players back would make a significant increase to our chances of success

We had something like 14 championship debutantes this year. At least half of them should be better players next year

Seldom was there a clear tactical plan last year, bar get it into Darragh or the Dazzler. There's opportunity for another gain tactics or game plan wise

Incremental increases can be hoped for regards team spirit, and strength and conditioning

2024 season we had horrible luck with injuries. Meyler never kicked a ball. Mattie, McShane and many many others had serious injuries to contend with. A bit of luck here would make a significant progressive impact

An exciting managerial appointment would go a long way to alleviating the apathy which developed amongst our support too

We really aren't that far away. Looking around the country, there's nothing to fear.

So much deadwood in that Tyrone team needs out the door first. McShane, McGeary, Burns need the road. Same as most of them young lads brought in this year ffs they were terrible. Can maybe give them a bye ball as the set-up last year wasn't great - but realistically none of them players are going to cut the mustard at all-ireland level
