with all the criticism of Gerry and the parties in the '26' constant harking back to Gerry's 'involvement' in the war tied to his seemingly inability to expose the disastrous Fianna fail fine Gael axis of power. it seems logical that someone else should take the reins. but would it make any difference? are the sheep (electorate) hell bent on dosing themselves with another corrupt shower of traitors. is there anyone who can turn this around? is there a carson or a paisley in the house? maybe a lincoln or a ghandi? who'd you like to see leading sinn fein/opposition into the next election?

Interesting that no one considers the coalition option as important.

There is a perception that SF don't get transfers at the same rate as other parties. You either love them or hate them, it seems, with little in between.
