Second game of the season, and already it has a must win feel about it,as far as Armagh are concerned.Wonder if we asked Linfield nicely, would they lend us Ryan Henderson, just for one game? Well they did let a camogie team train at Windsor Park a few years ago.

Henderson would need Ronan Clarke to win the ball and draw the backs though.

Henderson might not even be the best Armagh forward at Linfield!

Name this one! Which Armagh player once scored 5 goals in the same game at Windsor Park?

Pure guess, Joey Cunningham?

This weekends game is a must win if we are to secure our status in division 2. Though we could potentially have the Cross boys back after this weekends game if they fail to get past St Brigids in the SF which might change the landscape.

Suffer us would go into orbit if the Rossies beat Armagh opposition twice in one year!

I think we can beat Wexford, but need both less naive tactics and more workrate by some.

Agree with that bit, the defensive organisation needs to be improved before we can move forward. In the 3 games to date, its no exaggeration to say that we could have quite easily conceded 9 or 10 goals. We are far too easy to score against, the modern game dictates that you need to make it difficult for the opposition to get a clear shot away within the scoring zone. We are the exact opposite. Thats to do with defensive organisation and fitness levels. The defeat against Laois wouldn't alarm me but the lack of a distinct game plan does.

Tony, when will you ever realise?  No one cares about Northern Ireland local soccer!

Couple of things............. where is this "Northern Ireland" of which you speak?

It is trivia, no harm done.

Tone, is it either Mickey Mc Donald or the great Johnny Corvan.

Mickey Mc Donald,Uncle of Rory Mc Ilroy, netted 5 goals in Glenavon's 6-4 win over Linfield at Windsor Park in the mid 80s.

There you go, Mickey was a good player but Corvan was sublime.

5 goals is impressive at any level let along the Irish League, fair play to him.
