4.4 to 0.9 to Omagh at ht. Mixture of shocking defence, quick attack and shit tactics. Pitch is frozen, been white from before throw in. Its been pretty tight, St Pats need a goal, not out of it but it could get away from them very fast.

thebigfullforward

Not sure how good St Pats are supposed to be or how highly rated they are but this is a good Omagh team. Don't think they're anywhere near as good as some CBS teams in the recent past but better than I thought they'd be

bennydorano

Yeah, Omagh have been talked down a bit, looked very impressive 2nite but St Pats were pretty poor. Tactically inept and maybe a bit unlucky but over did the short passing skitter ball, not a type of game Armagh football is associated with, but school coaches are obsessed with. Omagh could have won by another 10pts.

Aaron Boone

Omagh CBS seem to have great pedigree and the training must be tailored to peak for Jan / Feb.
Pre-Christmas they weren't standing out hugely.

Onthe40

3 of the 5 goals conceeded were terrible.. for a team being coached from September
Armagh's naievity and looseness in defence was incredible
Daly at 6 good player going fwd but middle wide open all the time
Shaping up for Omagh dungannon final ?

Dungannon Academy v Castleblaney moved from 7pm in Stewartstown tonite to same time tomorrow at same venue.
A school game at 7pm at night in January and Monaghan players and young supporters expected to travel to Stewartstown on what will probably be a freezing Sunday night. Crazy scheduling.

1. They have to wrap up MacRory to meet dates or players will be commandeered by county minor.

2. Blaney to Stewartstown is one hour of a drive. It's hardly cross country.

Newry and its environs to Owenbeg is a bit of a trek.

So they couldn't play the game in the morning or afternoon?
Sunday night home after 9pm and school and work the next day.
It's freezing these nights sending children out in that... I mean 12/13-year olds to watch it. I wouldn't put a bin out that night.
Ridiculous time.

Can't fix it for the morning as they need to give ground a chance to thaw if the frost continues.

Fair point. But 2pm be grand.

Tomorrow afternoon would probably be the most sensible. Or even Monday afternoon.
