Emery has won the Europa league 5 times with 3 different clubs, all with "Villa" in the name.

Captain Obvious already  told us that fact.

For the first 30 mins there really wasnt much between the teams.  Freiburg pressed high.  Villa struggled to retain possession and lumped a good few balls.  It did look like Freiburg were unlikely to have the required quality though.  In truth, much like the Champions league draw, there was a strong side of the draw and a weaker side.  The team coming through the Villa side of the draw would have been expected to win it.

The goals were all of such a high quality last night, and it would have been great for Buendia to finish that move to make it 4.  At least there was some quality on show in this year's final, unlike last year 

A word for the likes of John McGinn who has soldiered with that team from the championship days.
