Two legged yeah.

Still for Ederson's faults Stones was pathetic on the 3rd madrid goal, kovacic was slow at reacting on the 2nd and surely some defender could have been quicker getting back on the 1st.

For all the millions they have spent on defenders they look so bad at the back, not just last night but all season really.

Stones is waiting for Lewis to nail the ball and, failing that, nail Vini, not his fault Lewis makes a balls of it. Kovacic had got in front of Diaz and cut off the space between vini and Diaz, hes just unlucky that the ball falls directly into Diaz pass. The highlights don't show that the goal comes 5 seconds after Ederson boots the ball 30 yards straight to a Madrid player.

Lewis is an awful defender I know Walker has lost the pace and has own stuff going on outside of football but that's an area to target for any opposition coming up against City.  He's young, English and an academy graduate so gets a bye ball from the media.

He's off to AC Milan, and perhaps that will suit him for a couple of years.

It's amazing the massive amount that City has spent of defenders, and they were only a Rodri injury away from this shambles.

1-0 winners and Michael Noonan 16 years old the match winner
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Great result for Rovers. Still a job to do at home but a great start.

An absolute brilliant result. Fair play to them.

Feyenoord who finished 19th in the Champions league table knocked out AC Milan tonight. Feyenoord or Juventus/PSV for Arsenal next.

Club Brugge was 24th in the table and took out 9th place Atalanta. Brugge or Dortmund for Villa.

Liverpool will play PSG or Benfica.

Few shocks last night with Brugge and Feyenoord coming through not a good reflection for Italian football who would have been the benchmark in Europe in the 90s.  Would expect Arsenal to come through any of their opponents, if Villa draw Brugge will probably start as favourites.  Liverpool v PSG could be tie of the round.

Big fall out would appear on the back of Atalanta going out of Champions League last night.

Will be strong favourites but I Wouldn't overly trust Arsenal to come through. Under Arteta so far in European competition they have been knocked out by Olympiacos, Villarreal and Sporting.

All too easy for Mbappe against such poor Soulless City defence.

A hatrick now once again all too easy for him.

Captain Scarlet

I know it's very hard when your team is under pressure, but Foden is meant to be world class.
No influence tonight or all season.
