PSG are a belter of a team. Be funny to see them win this without mbappe. Hard to see them not winning it the way they're playing.

I posted that at half time. After the second half Arsenal will know themselves they were lucky enough it wasn't a 2 or 3-0 defeat.

I posted that at half time. After the second half Arsenal will know themselves they were lucky enough it wasn't a 2 or 3-0 defeat.

I wouldn't have called the first half even either. Paris dominated the first 35 mins of it, Arsenal had a couple of chances late in the half but they couldn't get near Paris for most of it.

Next goal crucial. Arsenal's strength is their defence. They have plenty pace out wide but hopeless at breaking down teams. So an early goal for them, maybe a set piece, and then try catch PSG on counter. But if they find themselves 2 down in this tie, they won't score if they were there for the week and probably concede a few more.

To win the match Arsenal still have to score 2 goals (or more).. Yes there are other permutations and so on.
So I don't always buy the idea that if they score first the tie is over, Arsenal are still in the same position that they'll need 2 goals or more to win the tie.

Despite what others say, and I'm only going with the first half I seen, Arsenal were creating and just didn't get the breakthrough.

PSG have been the (eventually) breakout team of the champions league, after promising so much they might actually deliver
