There were many standout performances. McGinn covered every blade and was a real driving force in the 2nd half. Rashford worked so hard and became a real threat in the 2nd half. I can understand that they had probably ran their race, but when they came off, it all went a bit flat.

What is the utd fans thinking of Rashford now? Did the club let him down, too much of a bashing from media and fans, or was it mostly on him? He looks a different player than a few months ago. That said, I don't think he will be at Villa next season.

He's playing for his future, United fans will recall the way he played on the way to signing his bumper contract. Has a feeling of that all over it for me.

Real Madrid were not at the races tonight. Arsenal missed a penalty and gave Madrid their goal. They still lost 5-1.

Real went thundering around and thought they would get away with everything and Arsenal would panic.

They got away with plenty mind, but they seemed to be shocked that Arsenal didn't lose their composure.

They really missed the old midfield trio to control things and actually use their brains.

Worst display by Real Madrid in CL tie since Ajax in 2019?  Credit where it's due for Arsenal for winning both legs and will fancy their chances to win a first ever CL title.  Spanish media will probably be hoping for PSG managed by Luis Enrique plays Barcelona in the final.

Would love Barca to win it but they're a bit young possibly. Looking at all 4 sides, they all have the potential to be brilliant but also a bit flawed too. Should make for an interesting finish to the competition.
