Game gone scrappy, Alan Brogan gone, pace of game suits Meath at the moment.

;D

That's Dublin in a microcosm, the ability to just turn it on, 2 brilliant goals really out of nothing as the game was just drifting towards half-time, only Kerry of the other contenders have that ability, Donegal definitely not.

So it isn't 96 redux. Long winters ahead for several big name counties incl meath. But something has to be done about the state of the game regardless of who wins.

Erm, I thought that's exactly what Donegal did today....
+1 and Down are a better team than Meath.

What score 2 goals in 2 minutes, could have sworn they were 20 minutes apart and if different halves.

No, "create 2 brilliant goals out of nothing" at critical times.

Donegal are a totally different beast this year.

Will reserve judgement on Donegal until the play non-Ulster competition as it looks Ulster is not particularly strong this year.

So now we have video refs in football, no surprise that Dublin are the benefactors.

O'Gara is some ball winner, think he may have cemented his place in the team after today.

One thing you can say about Meath, they are never beaten!  :P

Looks like it. But you'd wonder, are they a bit burned out after the efforts of last year!
