Michael Dara MacAuley missed the game yesterday because he fell off his bike during the week.
He also missed a game last year because he nearly choked to death on a bit of chicken.
Any other famously daft reasons for players missing a championship game?

Slightly off topic but some Ireland lad from Cork missed a soccer match because of a family funeral. In the Premiership panto that was Newcastle United in their revolving door era one lad missed the big kick off because the previous nights larking around with a bit of recreational viagra was causing untold problems in the jockstrap department come 2.45 Saturday.
