6. Referee sent in letter to county board before under-16 final alleging that he had been prevailed upon by certain parties to change his report.

Did anything happen this referee? I remember a ref in Cavan getting 6 months for something very similar.

Nope.

The individuals who "persuaded" him to change the report need to be dealt with by removing them from their positions for a long period (longer than 48 weeks).

I expect a DRA decision soon.

If sense prevails they will rule in favour of Killoe.

But Laurel is right. There are 3-4 individuals in the County setup that need their cough softened.

Well done to Mullinalaghta yesterday but it was tough on Colmcille. Looked like they were home and hosed.

The Slashers are named after Myles 'The Slasher' O'Reilly that fought the redcoats on the Bridge of Finea.

Also provided the great headline when Albert became the Teashop and fired a rake of FF ministers in a cabinet purge.

The Longford Slasher

Killoe v Mostrim next up. Killoe to win by 4  ;)

Finally, finally, the last group game:

Killoe v Mostrim, Fri 8pm, Monaduff.

Anything better for Mostrim than a five-point defeat sees them through at Clonguish's expense.

Draw for the remaining quarter-finals afterwards.

Odds:

Paddy Power (https://www.paddypower.com/gaelic-games/longford-club-football?tab=outrights)

Mullinalaghta Evens 10/11
Killoe 7/2
Longford Slashers 7/1 4/1
Abbeylara 15/2 8/1
Granard 10/1
Clonguish 10/1 20/1
Mostrim 28/1
