Lar Corbett scored 4-04 against Waterford in last year's Munster HF.  Is that the biggest ever individual tally for a Munster Hurling Final?  If not, who holds the record, or where could you find that information?

Bord na Mona man

Not sure what 'modern record' implies.

"As in last year's All-Ireland final it was current Hurler of the Year Lar Corbett who performed the most lucrative banditry, this time ending with 4-4 from play, which betters the modern record set of 2-7 set by Mark Foley 21 years ago."

Speaking of hurling stats lads, has anyone come across any good stats packages/ apps that can be used for live feedback during games, just wondering as I have seen numerous footballing ones but have yet to see any decent hurling ones.

Yeah

It would have to be up there with one of the highest anyway!!
Gods Country= Glenshesk, North Antrim!!

As you say Bord na Mona man, I am not too sure what a "modern record" means.  Probably a journalist who does not have a clue what the record is and takes a chance that it was a good few years since there was a higher score.  According to "The Complete Handbook of Gaelic Games", Mick Mackey scored 5-3 for Limerick in the 1936 Munster Final against Tipperary.  So the record score is not held by either Mark Foley or Lar Corbett.
