I didn't see much difference to be honest, but I think you really need to watch sport or a movie. Something filmed in HD.

Is it available in the six counties through Sky or is it only on Saorview?

Very good. Absolutely not, unless Brian Gavin refs the hurling final :D

One day we'll come again though. Might be Holographic TV.

We still won't dive like Tyrone though :D

Not all programs on the channel are broadcast in HD.
