Once again we are subjected to this subject from r t e. Is this just more hype? Everyone worth their salt has collapsed at some stage in their life from drink so why have we to put up with this nanny state shite from r t e? Its not drink thats a problem in this country its the standard of journalism!

Well going by the recent guidelines most people are alcoholic's of some sort.

If you drink more than x amount at the weekend then you are a alcoholic, if you have a couple of drinks during the week then you are a alcoholic. Obviously, if you do both then you are an alcoholic!!

If we stopped drinking in Ireland then the revenue lost to the government would put Ireland into a worst state than Greece.

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

I remember reading somewhere that more than 4 drinks was binge drinking. In Ireland you have that in the house before you go to the pub!

I'm plastered and even I'll admit this country has a problem. Not with drinkin after an occassion of note but with seeing drinkin as the only form of socialising.
