Larries v Rossies. Part III. Both started from rock bottom 2 years ago, and evenly matched since. Ros went further than us in qualifiers ,'got to R3, we went in R2 , both losing to Tyrone but Longford only went down by 5 against their 11. The league final was hard to judge but better to have won in terms of progression. Ros were always going to beat NY. Longford to win but only if their forwards click.

Fantastic result, unbeaten league start to 2012 for the saffrons in both codes

Syferus

So Antrim will arrive at the Hyde unbeaten. We have to be looking at the next seven days as an opportunity to all but assure promotion.

I wonder how long Kevin Walsh will stick with them? he has taken them as far as they can get. I think he regrets not taking the Galway job now. Man of his calibre needs to move on.

I expect we will beat Longford today by three points.

Shamrock Shore

Great win for Longford, despite doing our best in the first half to lose it!

ross4life

Best team longford won 0-16 2-8 awful display by us in the 2nd half, ref was woeful.

Shamrock Shore

Ref was brutal by all accounts from the commentators on Shiteside. The number of times he pulled Rossie lads for over carrying had Donie Shine Snr pulling his hair out. Onwards now to Park Markthepitch to play Sligo
