Brilliant win today, off the bottom at least and by all accounts a decent performance today at a venue that hasnt been kind to us in the past.

London Waterford and Wicklow all winnable, so hopefully finish with six or eight points and that is an entirely different look.

Supporters still entitled to ask where was that performance last week in Portglenone?

But credit due, that should lift the gloom a bit.

Change in approach today

Went for the game. Pressed hard and got a lot of success from it. I've been to Leitrim
on nicer days but today was a happy day

Finally! Now we're playing closer to our full potential. It was an encouraging performance and the mood now seems quite good in the camp so let's look onward and upward.

One point of note though, I heard today the senior panel left for carrick-on-Shannon yesterday afternoon )for a game that threw in today at 2pm)

Is that expenditure necessary? Is it the norm for away games? If I was still playing I wouldn't be thrilled at the idea of my whole weekend being taken up when it could be halved, and more time spent with family & friends. The financial commitment to this type of approach must be heavy on the County.

Did the squad that lined out match the team sheet PR announcement?

We complain when we are stingy with the teams and complain when we spend money on them!

There's some whingey feckers about the place  ;D
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Good win. Spoke to a parent who was one of the very few supporters at the game. He said we were vey fortunate with the wind. It blew a gale in first half and was worth a 10pt lead. Completely died at HT with the rain. Some days you just get that luck.
He also said Joe Finnegans red card on the stroke of FT was never a red, not even a yellow. Harsh now that he will be suspended.

We can be a bunch of whingers at times, but for some if us, the prospect of being bottom of Div 4 with a horrendous point difference - and as a result - being held to ridicule by the rest of the county, was just going to be a bridge too far.

Thankfully that has been averted.

To win across all 4 codes in a single weekend is a rare event. Embrace it for a few days, it dosent often happen.

Exactly BS. Both the ladies wins and the hurlers wins were good.

I wouldn't have put money on any of those wins tbh so it's something to be pleased about.

Hopefully this is the kick start we need here.

Good win especially in the circumstances. hopefully this is the start of it

Dunsilly King

Thats an incredibly important win yesterday. Can't be overstated.

YoungSaff

Good win yes , but lets not forget we are completely out of the promotion race and will no doubt be stuvck in division 4 for another year , however hopefullly we can use this to build for a tailtean run

Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come
