Going down easy when there is unnecessary contact and diving probably two different things....

Damp squib of a second half.

Also, is Pat Shivers wearing a cast on his left arm?!

Quote from: gallsman on October 12, 2025, 02:43:00 PMCargin losing the rag a bit here. Dunloy have done well not to let them get too much momentum following the second penalty.

Probably lucky to still have 15. Number 5 struck, and the Dunloy full back was rabbit punched.

Jonkunlon

Much better team won. Fitter, faster, better footballers and a better system.

gallsman

What a result. What a club. Full value and then some for that.

Time for some of the Cargin elder statesmen to hang up the boots? Cargin were very, very poor there today. Justy Crozier retired before father time fully caught up with him. Surely some of the others will follow him.

Lol,  nothing to do with the ref this game.  Dunloy just to young,  fast and direct for Cargin.  Didn't see that coming.

Sportacus

Congratulations Dunloy. Very worthy winners.

Better get up that motorway quickly for the camogie  ;D

Better team won. Some belter footballers there. Didn't expect this at all particularly the margin.

What a club Dunloy are! It's great to see them winning a championship after watching the quality of underage teams they constantly put out.

The likes of them and Slaughtneil are something else.

They've always had some great footballers. Sometimes wonder is the split season helpful too.

Constantly competing underage in both these days too so will be going nowhere fast.

I won an U16 championship against Dunloy in 2003. Until that point I had no idea they played football whatsoever.

A terrific performance and they look like they'll be around the very top table for years to come.

BigGreenField

Cargin worthy champions for a long time, they looked old today and they'll need to reset and allow youth its head.

Congratulations to Dunloy.  a good young team, good luck to them in Ulster, they'll  pose an attacking challenge and hope they can continue to entertain.

OakLeaf

Great performance from Dunloy. They've been coming for a few years now. It'll be interesting to see how they fare in Ulster. Some great footballers.

89 years of a wait is over.

What a day.
