I also think St John's have better quality in the 18-25 age bracket.

Apologies if this is a naive question, but why are so many city teams are struggling at underage? I appreciate there's more distractions in urban areas, but hasn't that always been the case? And surely many city clubs would have the benefit of larger populations? You'd think there'd be enough players to get a team on the pitch anyway.

People are away with the fairies if you believe that's what he's getting. It is less than half of that at best. Stop spreading lies and hearsay to feed the frenzy. I can't imagine too many clubs in Antrim paying north of 15k for any coach regardless of how good they're perceived.

You could divide that number by 10 and you would still be too high

Yep - pile of nonsense. Why would anyone bother with day jobs any more if half of this was true and there are many counties much richers than ours who wouldn't even be near numbers talked about here.

£25k  ;D

Christ, i need to speak to someone then about my wages.

Anthony is manager. Murtagh is in helping him. As was said before, Anthony likes to bring in different voices to the set up over the years. Murtagh has done a fine job from what I've seen and its similar to his approach at training as well.

Also the surprise at us beating St Johns is quite amusing. You wont find anyone in the home support Sunday who didn't expect to see us win - albeit not by as much. There's absolutely the potential there to win a senior championship, its just being able to split the demand over two codes.

Hurling will always be priority over football for the supporters.

I think Dunloy will win SFC this year

We've a good outside chance, thats for sure, but Cargin, Creggan & St Brigid's will be in with a better shout.

Dunloy beating the Johnnies was no surprise to me, I was expecting it. Surprised that there was 20 odd points in it though.

Problem for them though is that they now have 5 weeks of Championship competition week on week. While all their main competitors have a week off in between in both codes.

Take a huge amount of luck in terms of injuries for them to come through that unscathed and at full strength in both, which they would need to be.

Very true NAG but they were also missing 2 or 3 against St Johns - Coby Cunning the most notable, and they now have 1 foot in the quarters already!

From what I have heard Coby won't be featuring any time soon in the football or hurling
