No black eyes, just a bit of a bloody nose

I think Jim Stynes caught me when he was swinging his handbag

Presume CCC need to opine on the handbags and gladrags match before fixtures are set for Div 1 knockout (sponsored by Donegal Holiday parks)

Ahoghill concede their play off games and accept relegation. Surprised at them doing it but maybe they know something  we don't.

Surely not another boardroom change of leagues to suit certain clubs?

I just find it hard to believe  they will sacrifice a place in the expanded D1 without knowing the path forward for next season along also maybe forfeiting championship games this season.

That's what has to happen. Div3 and JFC

And to read on this forum  you'd think there aren't any problems north of glengormley. Maybe there should be a super club made up of ahoghill, moneyglass, tnn, Rasharkin, Comgalls etc. Dont worry about all that history, tradition  etc etc. If it's good enough for the westies.......;)

It seems the club that never ever give up have just, well... gave up!

when the same set of players from a very limited group numbers wise are playing hurling one week football the next, there are only so many years you can do that for, and with not much coming through it's a tough one to maintain..

The likes of Dunloy the Johnnies and Rossa have numbers and teams at all age groups so easier for them.

Hopefully it gives them a chance to regroup, a tough outfit.

A few other Div 1 clubs would do well to lobby for a smaller Div 1, being outside the top division might prompt that to look at what they are doing in player development from top to bottom.

Sad to see yes I'm not sure what's happening in camp but it has been coming for a few years hanging on by the skin of our teeth, we will be very competitive in div 2.

And for them comments saying they've given up a team with 17/18 players on a good day in a div 1 league is very impressive and it's taken its toll on them
Div 2 is probably there level know with players retiring and being unavailable
