Apart from the 5/6 that play.

Interesting to see how the ladies can get on the rest of the year. Hopefully add Ulster and All-Ireland's. Not long since they won an Intermediate Ulster and played in an Intermediate All-Ireland semi-final. Lost Cathy Carey to retirement and are without Orlaith Prenter and Grainne McLaughlin which is some knock to any forward line. They have had some good U16 and minor teams thought with plenty of really good players coming through including Sunday's hero, Aoibheann Monaghan. I remember watching her in an u14 game a couple of years ago and she was absolutely brilliant. There's another few coming behind her that can hopefully be added to the senior panel in the next year or two.

I'm hearing the underage footballers of Moneyglass and Ahoghill have combined to make Sean Stinsons 2.0. Ergnat Clooneys they are to be called.

Spike

Has Clooney amalgamated with Ballymena for the hurling at underage as well? Some Camogie players play for St Ergnats lgfa as well?  Is this the solution for Ahoghill and Moneyglass moving forward?  Massive catchment area there.

Cloony & Ballymena have been together at underage for a few years now. This year at U12/14, 16 & minor they are combined as Slemish Gaels in North Antrim.

A few of our u16 lads who wanted to play football joined up with moneyglass as we didn't have enough to field a team and a few good young players at that, don't see any problem with it.
Just a pity there isn't enough people in our club to have a u16 team which has been the case for a good few years

Don't see any problem with it  ;D , you were one of the first men to chastise PG1 and St Brides , live by the sword die by the sword, I am sure Moneyglass had enough to field a team , we struggle weekly for numbers but always get a team out!

What exactly does that have to do with us not having a u16 team????

Take the Mark

Theres a bit of a difference between getting young lads a game and keeping them in the association and bringing in adult players to start on your senior team ahead of players who actually grew up playing there.
