I have never seen as many posters on here fawning some kind of admiration or sympathy for the plight of Cargin while no doubt sniggering behind the bushes, Brendan neither you or MR2 give one shit about our club and all you are doing is trying to soft soap, save your smart a** comments.

Only person with any hint of genuine intent is Bannside

We will be back next year with Ronan and more than ready to defend our title much to disappointment of a lot of you   

No one needs to feel good about Cargin putting up a disappointing effort on Sunday, as no one in Antrim benefits from that. We can be sure that Cargin will start off hot enough favourites for next year's Antrim championship...and even if they dont win many underage titles,they will bring through 3 or 4 quality players every year from their conveyor belt.

I respect the work Cargin put in, and recognise that for many years they were sole SW club consistently performing when SW football generally was a poor second fiddle to some great city teams. And the fact they will always be around the top end of Antrim football, even if they hit odd year where there is transition etc.

It's up to the rest to catch up. plain and simple, and clubs wanting to do that need to be working very hard across all age groups for a sustained period of time.

This is 100% spot on. We all wanted to see Cargin -  and the counties other representatives in Intermediate and Junior do well - that's one way the narrative and culture of Antrim football will change for the better.

Bit early in the year for the siege?

Whether you want to believe it or not, isn't my concern. I genuinely want all our clubs to do well in Ulster when they win Antrim. The chip you have on the shoulder is your own paranoia tbf.

You need to realise its a bitta banter not hate when the slagging starts. If you are the type to bite all the time then maybe step away from the site, not healthy.

As for the plight of Cargin, would love to have that plight they are having lol, give your head a wobble and move on

Yeah but we are under18 and under21 at club level this year and now we are still under 17 and under 20..

Strong looking management teams for minor and under 20. Plenty of variety and experience amongst both sets of personnel. Fair play to our county coaching and development officer for showing a bit of enterprise, not scared of going outside of the county to source added value 👍.

Can we explain whats impressive about the u20 and minor management set ups? Yes a good spread of coaches from various clubs both inside and outside the county.... but whats impressive about these two management teams? i look at down, armagh, derr, tyrone minor and u20 set ups and i cant see how ours are impressive.

Though saying that, who else was in for these jobs. So i tip my hat for them taking the teams as the players themselves havnt had any great experiences throughout their county careers thus far

Was just about to ask this, fair play to them for taking it but to call the U20 management 'impressive' could be a bit of a push? Impressive in terms of volume yes, Impressive otherwise I'm not so sure.

I don't see too many people coming forward for these roles so its's impressive that there is a team of managers/selectors in place.
