Quote from: Take the Mark on October 28, 2024, 09:36:48 AMA couple of upsets (in my eyes) in the U21's with St Brigids and St Pauls both losing. Decent game in Glenravel, in poor conditions where I witnessed the referee give a Cargin mentor the middle finger mid match. Classy!

the ref just randomly gave the finger?

What a bizarre response to my post. But anyway, if theres anything in the rulebook that states that a ref should do this in response to anything by a mentor, I'd like to read it.

I wasn't there so I'm asking, based on you, a random person on the internet, saying someone gave the finger.

If we just believed everything someone said on forum without much proof that it actually happened that be mad Ted

I'm just asking did he give the middle finger randomly (if he actually did) to a mentor.

BTW ref's are human too, there's no off switch a ref has going on to a pitch, verbal abuse from mentors can make people react, if someone started giving you abuse in the street, you'd react, I don't personally see any difference because someone is on a pitch. This is for every game, not the one you are referring to

It would be more 'mad Ted' if I randomly made that story up

Its as mad as a ref just randomly giving the middle finger

What has 'randomly got to do with it? It should not have happened.

What shouldn't happen (in general btw) abuse from mentors and referee's reacting? yeah it shouldn't

Vast majority of last years horrendous injury list are back up and at it. As ITG says, Adam the doubt, recurring hip injury slow to the mend. Definitely a stronger panel this year BigGreen.

is there any clarity on what is happening with Dunloy/treasa, and the division 3 promotion or will it be February again?

Good luck to the Antrim footballers on Saturday against the Donegal junior club champions in the Ulster Junior Club Championship. Would be great to see them get a result and progress to the next stage. More than capable I'm sure

Good luck is right.

It will take a huge slice of luck and some for any of our teams to be lifting provincial football titles.

Divine intervention is probably what is required.

I see rumours on Derry board that Devlin informed Cargin players he was going to Derry

That's certainly one way of putting what you read.

Very good manager and nice fella too, no flapping on the sideline and has improved Cargin
