Quote from: JimStynes on Today at 02:57:50 PMWhat a club Dunloy are! It's great to see them winning a championship after watching the quality of underage teams they constantly put out.

The likes of them and Slaughtneil are something else.

They've always had some great footballers. Sometimes wonder is the split season helpful too.

Constantly competing underage in both these days too so will be going nowhere fast.

I won an U16 championship against Dunloy in 2003. Until that point I had no idea they played football whatsoever.

A terrific performance and they look like they'll be around the very top table for years to come.

BigGreenField

Cargin worthy champions for a long time, they looked old today and they'll need to reset and allow youth its head.

Congratulations to Dunloy.  a good young team, good luck to them in Ulster, they'll  pose an attacking challenge and hope they can continue to entertain.

OakLeaf

Great performance from Dunloy. They've been coming for a few years now. It'll be interesting to see how they fare in Ulster. Some great footballers.

Na Glinntí Glasa

89 years of a wait is over.

What a day.

Since they won the intermediate, is that a final, a semi final and now a title in three years?

Final quarter final and champions.

There was someone here earlier on in the year posted " anytime Dunloy play anyone decent they get swatted aside"

Beat st brigids PG1 and cargin to win it.

UP THE FU##ING DUNLOY!

NGBlue

Great to see! As we well know, good things come to an end, I'd say a few boys will hang the boots up in Cargin! Looking forward to seeing Dunloy in Ulster giving zero fecks! Also if my memory strikes me right, Dunloy are known for a good Monday club with updates!

Spike

Dunloy good value for the win, they stepped up to the plate when needed taking the tough road to the final.

As so often happens they learned more from the Cargin defeat in the group stages than Cargin did by winning. Goals and 2 pointers are a good mix

imtommygunn

The two pointers seem to really suit the Dunloy team. The camogiers giving loughgiel a real game here too.

Well done Dunloy. Enjoy your big night, well deserved. No one has any hard luck stories, you won it being fitter faster, well managed, hungier and no small amount of ballers. Enjoy your night. Lets get behind you now in Ulster.

Hoof Hearted

Well done to Dunloy, well deserved best team won
But cargin have been great champions, old heads are good but old legs got caught out by youth today.
Cargin will be back be very surprised of they're not in at least the final this day 12 months.
