Not sure what you mean here! A manager hoping to have some of his injured or better players back??

Am I missing something,

Are you missing something?

Quote from: Spike on April 04, 2025, 09:54:01 AMis that a 25 to 30 mile catchment area? Great niche to find.   Only St Galls and St Brigids can compete with that ;)
And Dunloy

25-30 mile be a bit of a stretch for Dunloy, no?

There's not a club in the county is "pure"  whether it's having an expanded catchment, taking in waifs and strays or getting players educated in the Macrory Football Factories outside the county.

It's a pretty dull discussion at this point and anyone looking to climb to some sort of moral high ground has little enough to trouble them.

Spike

Now where kids go to school is the equivalent to St brigids gather ups policy.

You would have us like soccer clubs.

Belfast GAA man

10 tickets only for each club for Armagh game so roughly 500
Where are other 3500 going ?
Doesn't smell right

Rumour has it,  PMcG in last chance saloon for Aghagallon today v St Galls

Might take a race round to that one...

Sounds like trouble in paradise already

All saints with a comfortable win in the Delargy derby. I take it All Saints didn't have their county men? impressive win for them either way.

Already? Theres a squad of 'know betters' in that Aghagallon team who have wanted McGrath up the road long ago.

Couple of proper upsets today in Dunloy and Ballymena. I'm sure neither management team are too concerned for their jobs over a league game all the same.

Around the glens

As good of a league display iv seen from dunloy. Decky Smith as good as any footballer in the county.

Heard from Aghagallon folk today that majority of players voted for Mc Grath to go (played like that was the case today ) but it was the 'know betters' who pushed it through for him to stay ?!?!

Mc Grath is in his 3rd year and things seem to be getting worse, the know betters may have a point but it seems to be that the money men have more to say around aghnagallon than anyone else.

Anyone underestimating Ballymena can do so at their peril. The new rules suit them, serious pace throughout and at full strength they should be thinking of hitting serious heights this year. Look like a team with a clear system and I see a team there that's playing for each other and really enjoying their football.

Casements on the other hand look like a team that is not sure where it is atm and the robust squad that was put together over the last few years is depleted with the departure of numerous players.

I would still expect them to regroup and get back to winning ways in due course when four or five staples return, but John has work to do to get their season started. No one will be panicking too much about the league in early April.
