Hearing that the Ulster Council hearing planned for last night was postponed until next week due to an unforeseen circumstance.

Hopeful that all Antrim county officers involved, having had ample time to assess the mood in the county will do their duty, which reflects their mandate....and nominate nowhere else but Corrigan Park as the venue for our home championship tie against Armagh.

Antrim must be united on this, footballers, hurlers, supporters and administrators.

I'd prefer we concentrate on becoming a better team, win a few league games and try and improve than worry about this.  This is a nice dead cat on the table for McEntee

Trying to work out your thinking EOC...does it have to be one or the other. surely both are completely separate things.

BS its only my opinion but I get the feeling some people enjoy this type of scenario too much and it takes their eye off whatever on pitch targets there are.

Different this time of course as the All Ireland champions are involved but the last time this exact situation arose 3 years ago we took a pounding from an average enough Cavan team after demanding it was played in Corrigan. A game on paper we could of been winning, bizarrely our low capacity home ground being nowhere near full for the game. I sat on the grass bank staring over into a quarter full stand.

Remember it well. Enda was in charge and we had a panel full of recognisable names but the performance didn't happen and yes it turned quickly into a very damp squib.

Regardless of the result then, or what happens against Armagh, a stance is a stance, its either right or wrong to make it, and Iin this instance I cant think of any county who would willingly give up home advantage to the All Ireland champions.

Some of the people opinioning on this have never managed a team into a championship. You don't concede ground, or anything, if you can help it.

BS, is that your statement or Jamie Bryson's?

ONeill

Bring it to Glenavy. There's a new coffee shop and the carvery in Lily's is class. Armagh ones can then go to Bartins Bay or Ram's Island if the weather holds up.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

FactCheck

Must be a lack of oxygen going to the head

McManus said they'd need ti find a way to let as many people see it as possible

IE move it out of Corrigan!

Dont be a tool trying to cover from him. Stick to hurling lad

There's a touch of irony with your name being FactCheck and you taking what someone said and repurposing it by using I.e.

Surely he could be referring to doing something at Corrigan to increase capacity to 'let as many people as possible to see it'.
He could also be referring to making sure it is shown live on tv/media players.

Three leaf clover

Is team named for Sunday yet?

Big enough game today I think. Offaly going well so will be a tough nut to crack. Win and we can still have some hope of promotion but if we lose we're probably looking towards a relegation battle. Will be tough one but goo barometer of where we are at.

Well done 👍

Add words and meanings too it that he didn't say. Don't read between the lines or add bolt ons to the package

He spoke of his love for Corrigan and finished with BUT

Stop arse licking him,

Gael-in-exile

No licking going on here. Merely pointing out he didn't say move it out of Corrigan.

Personally I think he should've been more forthright in making the case to be playing the match there but he sat on the fence which many media and others have taken to create a story.

And I've no doubt had it been Antrim hurlers in this scenario he would've made the case for sticking to Corrigan a whole lot more.

Both midfielders sent off  :(
