I can't see either team out. Not even sure who is in either squad.

country bumpkin

Team is published, but surprised not a man from Cargin named..

Is this a case of invitations refused or none extended..?

Belfast GAA man

Why would they not been invited ? Nonsense

Eunan Quinn is on the subs CB
But it's hard to understand how the team that has dominated Antrim football the last decade has so few representatives on the County team.

Sometimes that's how it works, in Antrim club is king.

Any involvement of players with UU/Sigerson?

Is this the start of the annual 'Cargin - everyone's against us' waffle?

NO it's not (from me anyway)
But if a team that has/is so dominant on the club scene in a county has so few representatives on the county team surely people have to question why.
Possibly there is lads being asked and don't want to go up to the County as MR2 has said "club is king".
Other strong clubs low on representation too PG1 and Kickhams should have more IMO.

One of the challenges of the last minute team sheet release, lack of (for example) an interview in the IN on the squad is the lack of info, whose fit/whose not whose available, etc.

It's a youngish team which if that's the strategy might account for some of the non-selections. Certainly some obvious misses at the younger end of the spectrum which would have been good to know about, not just Cargin.

If lads are not making themselves available, in the long term that is a bad thing for their clubs as they aren't being exposed to the County standard. It's not an easy gig signing up to the county though by any means and everyone has their own calls to make.

Belfast GAA man

Do they think the are too good or something madlike tha ?

I wasn't able to make that game but that is a very good win. Hopefully sets us up well.

Fermanagh game a big one next weekend.

Gutsy win today, how many times have us oul hands seen those games slip away. Two great points, hard earned, well done to Andy, players and everyone involved.

Game over 6 hours ago, not a comment. Strange that, methinks had we lost...the thread would be hiving!
