The stage will be located quite close to the Aras. I doubt the Ashtown gate will be open so maybe the parkgate street entrance would be your best bet.

Was at Heaton Park on Friday night. Fantastic gig. Always the fear with the Roses it's going to be outstanding or a complete disaster, thankfully was the former. Only prob was it was poorly organised and saw a video last night of the bar getting looted but that not the band's fault.
Think The Wailers are one of the support acts in Dublin, go along to see them.

Donnellys Hollow

There's Seán Brady going in, what dya think Seán?

Cycled past the stage last night, anyone driving to it (particularly anyone coming from the North) should park outside the park, (the park can be a pain in the hole to get in and out of), along blackhorse avenue, a couple of pubs, The hole in the wall and Cummiskeys have parking, there are two pedestrian entrances at those pubs and you would only be a very short stroll to gate B on DH's map.

Some bright or sunny spells at first on Friday, however cloud will spill in from the Irish Sea, with outbreaks of rain developing during the late morning with further falls thereafter for the rest of the day. The rain will turn heavy and persistent at times too, with up to 25mm possible. Highest temperatures 16 to 19 degrees, mildest inland, where it will stay driest for longest. Light northerly breezes, will increase breezy at times later, especially along Irish Sea coasts.

My two sisters have headed off on the train from Belfast with the intention of wearing wellies to the concert.  They'll look like some pair, staying in the Fitzwilliam and plodding out in the wellies.

Those two pedestrian entrances are shut off, you would need to go to either the cabra entrance (about 150 yards back down towards town) or the Ashtown gate entrance

Wellies have had a makeover in the last few years . They sell branded versions in upmarket shops now and some of them  can be quite expensive and on the right legs they can even look like FMB . But I still associate them with with cowshite.

Well any reports folks?

Well Ian Brown still hasn't learned to sing but they played for about 1h 40m and I loved it...

The Phoenix Park though is a shithole of a venue..
