This is crazy! This surely cannot go on forever?

How can the governement reduce the cost of this?

1 - Do not police the parades! (probably a recipe for dissaster in some areas.)
2 - Stop parades? (Aren't the hate filled & sectarian anyway?)
3 - Reduce parades / Shorten the marching season? 5 months is too long surely!! - Would 1 day every year not be enough?
4 - Much like football clubs, force the Orange Order to pay for part of the bill?

I don't see the problem sure the OO is heavily subsidised anyway. Only makes sense to clean up the mess after...

Ban ALL parades.  OO, AOH even St. Patrick's day.  Waste of time and money the lot of them

Difference is St Paddy's day should be making the cities money...

I think the OO's attempt at the Orange Fest would work better if they hadn't all the practice parades cluttering the roads for 5 months !!!

Good idea.

Lets organise a parade to urge the goverment to ban all parades.

"What do we want?!!!"
"A ban on all parades!!"
"When do we want it?!!!"
"After we've finished!!"
