Rumours that Sky are cutting a deal to present the closing day of the January window from Harry Redknapps car have yet to be confirmed.

In fairness Sky have been desparate for news the last few days. Yesterday Liverpool fans on one forum started twiiter rumours that they were signing Neymar, Sky give it a mention at one stage yesterday till they were then ridiculed by said rumour starters. They also missed the official website posting that Coates had signed, for a hour afterwards they still talked of Suarez posting his welcome on twitter and then deleting it.

Today they've been relaying the news that Milner had left England training based on a fake stewart downing twitter account.

Its a mad day.
