I've really enjoyed it. As usual despite the doom-sayers it's all gone pretty well. Lets not forget the par-olympics are starting now. An even greater testimony to the human spirit if you ask me.

It will be interesting to see what becomes of the Olympic area of London. It should by next year be a public park with apartments and  several sporting facilities. What becomes of the stadium, who knows? Cameron was positive about it today but he's full of shit most of the time. So who knows? It's the one flaw in an otherwise great regeneration project.

The barcelona olympic area, while they have a user for the stadium, certain parks have ended up as isolated spaces with no sense of destination or purpose and lay empty.
