I see Brolly has released the first of a TWO PART special podcast dedicated solely to his grudge with Mickey Harte. The double episode comes days after a coloumn on the topic in the Indo where he revelaed he "personally contacted" Padraig Joyce "to apologise on behalf of the people of Derry" (which makes that now the second time he has apologised on their behalf since the Derry/Galway match). Can anyone from Derry maybe reveal how/when Brolly was elected as their spokesperson/representative?

He wasn't and you know he wasn't. As previously suggested on this board a lot of people on here should heed the advice of Derry people and ignore Joe. Trust me, you'll feel better for it.

Just having a listen to the pod now. Brolly just called Mickey Harte's tenure in Louth was "a disaster".

For the record, in his three seasons with Louth, (a county which hadn't won a game in almost 18 months), Harte managed them to promotion twice - from Division 4 to Division 2 (where they finished his last season in a very respectable third place), and got to their first Leinster Final since 2010. Some "disaster" lol

Harte's record with Louth was brilliant and has laid the foundations for them pushing on this year. The 2 teams he finished behind in division 2 last year were the 2 that played in the division 1 final this year!

He may not have been the man to bring them on more to being able to bridge the gap to Dublin given his naive tactics against them in Leinster last year and as shown again this year with what he's done with Derry in their championship games.

He said Ger Brennan has come in and "revived" Louth. Louth finished 6th in the division this year.

Brolly obviously despises Harte, has done for a long time. He needs to let it go. Harte took Louth (same as Tyrone post 2009) to a certain level but couldn't set up against the top teams. Ger Brennan has taken Louth the next step same as Dooher and Logan did with Tyrone. He's out of his depth with Derry. Joe's in meltdown 😆 #letgo
