Fair play to St Micks.
Looked well out of it at half time.
Some great switches from Corrigan.
Wanted.  Forwards to take frees.
Not fussy.  Any sort of ability will be considered

Enniskillen number 11 got sent off today - first yellow card was justified - 2nd yellow wasn't even a free.

Whilst other boys kicked and boxed and didn't even get a yellow.

A lot of wides in the game on both sides.

Aaron Boone

Joe McWhistllin from Cavan.

Mickey Harte/Tyrone have 3 men on the Enniskillen  team to be looking at, including the captain.

Yes rest are Fermanagh but St.Michaels does have a good alumni of Tyrone men from Dromore, Lack & Trillick.

Lack is in Fermanagh and I doubt if there are too many kicking a size 5 O'Neills around it either.

The second yellow was for a trip when maghera where on the break in front of the stands. definite free and yellow more times than not!

Maghera kicked themselves out of it in the first half with a strong breeze. Thought the ref gave st micks handier frees than he did for st pats. One stands out when maghera no6 was pushed while in possession and fell on the ball, ref gave a free in for touching it on the ground and ignored the push. St micks scored to go 0-8 to 1-3 up.

How I saw it.....

Ref made a bad mistake with the sending off, but then proceeded to give everything Enniskillens way afterwards (maybe he knew he had made an error).

Maghera showed alot of stupidity in the second half constantly having shots form 30+ metres instead of working the ball further in.

All together it was an atrocious game, probably the worst for manys a year. As for county stars from todays show? I very much doubt that unless were talking a good 5 years down the line.

Fair play to St Micks, just about shaded the contest imo.

Congratulations to St Michaels on qualifing for the Hogan Cup final today.
They beat Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne (Kerry) in PortLaoise by a point.
Final score was 0-10 to 0-09.
Fantastic performance after only a 5 day turn around from the MacRory final.
