Final score in tonights game St Colmans 0  - 17 St Marys 0  -06 Very handy win for College tonight . 1 st time i was ever at a game and heard the tannoy saying the College fans would be held back for 10 mins after the St Marys fans . Thought i was at a Celtic Rangers game , silly stuff for what seemed to be harmless banter

That St Colemans crowd are at it all the time, this is not the first time they have been involved with opposition fans.

I'm sick and tired of posters coming on the board and denigrating the supporters of St. Colman's. This bullpucky has been going on since 2010 with absolutely nothing to back it up. There hasn't been one documented incident regarding St. Colman's supporters who supposedly are "at it all the time".

So what if their supporters are loud, remember, these kids are just that -- kids, and I'm sure everyone one of us did something as a teenager that we look back on and cringe at it..

Wonderful win for the Violet Hills boys. I hope they can keep on going.

Would hardly say that only 3 left from last years team so very inexperienced

TYP, how good are St. Pat's?  Was the victory over Dungannon a flash in the pan, and do they have any real shot at the McRory cup?

Brick Tamlin

Ah sure thats a only poor college team this year folks.
Says it all about the quality of the rest of those schools when a team as poor as Colmans this year got this far.
Sure they will give it a rattle anyhow and see can they give Maghera a game in the next round, ye never know, maybe they could do what the Abbey failed to do and win.

No sign of either of the great CBS schools this year. Ah well, suppose there is always next year.

For all your recent success a few on here seem to let the Abbey get under their skin. Surely this is something you grow out of?

no never

Brick Tamlin

Recent Success you say?
St Colmans have always been successful down through the years.

Ye never grow out of hating your neighbours.
Best to remind them of the pecking order as much as possible and keep them in their rightful place as serial underachievers.

Just to add my agreement to NP76's comment. No never grow out of it. Left the College twenty years ago and still love to see a Violet Hill victory. But I don't hate the Abbey. Although I'm smug that we are better than them I never forget that they are also a breeding ground for future Down footballers.

Maghera play either Caven or Dungannon in the final. I'm pretty sure that the semi-final has been played, I just never heard who won.

Maghera beat Dungannon in last years Dalton final and I think are going for 2 Corn na nog's in a row.
