Cork for Sam after beating Kerry in the final. Dublin will be in the mix again and Kildare will be hard to stop. Tyrone will get their 2nds wind and pull out a big show when needed.

As far as I'm concerned Donegal are the worst Ulster champions I have seen in a long time but they are still ahead of Mayo and Roscommon!

Top 5

1. Cork
2. Kerry
3. Dublin
4. Kildare
5. Tyrone

Down, Armagh, Donegal, Derry, Wexford are all much the same with Mayo and Roscommon at the other end

Kildare will be hard enough to stop
DRIVE THAT BALL ON!!

Meath must be still in this poll due to their 'never say die' attitude of the 80s/90s!

The best odds there are for Armagh, Armagh are more like a 20/1 shot and are better than Mayo. I don't think Armagh will win Sam but if they beat Tyrone they will beat Roscommon and you never know they may get Mayo in the quarters. Lucky draws count for a lot in the championship. It is unlikley but very possible Armagh could make an All-ireland semi and at that stage the belief really kicks in. Certainly a much better long shot than Derry (due to Bradleys's injuries) or Wexford.

This board is for lads that know their football and the nordies so if all you're going to do is annoy everyone with constant jibes at Kildare you may saunter back there"

No they can't - the draw will be made next Sunday evening and Tyrone/Armagh will still have to play Roscommon. Given that you can't play a team you've already played in a provincial final whoever comes out of that game can only get Donegal, Kerry or Dublin

whitegoodman

On that basis will the draw be made before this game is played?  Surely they cant stop Roscommon / Tyrone / Armagh from being in the same bowl as Mayo on the basis that Roscommon may or may not beat Tyrone/Armagh?

Of course they will - the earliest the Tyrone/Armagh v Roscommon can be is the same weekend as the Quarter Finals so they'll have to make the draw next weekend. Tough shit for Tyrone or Armagh if they do get through to the quarters.

Just watching the sunday game from last night and Spillane said in the space of 25 seconds that Kildare were number 3 in the country and now ahead of Dublin but that he had doubts about them as they couldnt beat a Dublin team who were down to 14 men for 30 mins!!! Man talks some sh1te!!!

Kildare havnt beat any of the top teams such as Kerry, Cork, Dublin, Tyrone or even Down for that matter in championship football over the last number of years.  They have looked impressive but have not beat any sides outside of Leinster of real quality in any of the McGeeny years from memory. ( stand by to be correct on that)

Of course they can only beat what was put in front of them but imo they have alot to prove yet and can only be put at number 5 at best behind Kerry, Cork, Tyrone and Dublin.

I'd swap cork and Dublin and would then agree with ya. Can't have Dublin ahead of cork before they have beaten either cork or Kerry.

Also wouldn't have kildare that far ahead of down, armagh, Derry or Donegal.

I wouldn't put it past us to pull this one out of the bag.
If you were any use you'd be playing.
