The greatest literature has been inspired by depression, misfortune and the tragedy of the human condition. It's no surprise the lesser counties are using up vast quantities of bandwidth.

How come Mayo fans don't have their own forum anyway?
Have always wondered that myself, even Galway have their own dormant forum.
The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

I always said Kildare should have been offered a replay of that semi-final.

Sure didn't McEneaney offer O'Callaghan eleven steps to score his goal. Wasn't that generous enough?

I think they tried to set one up before.
Everyone got fierce excited about it.
Then it just crashed inexplicably.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Is it only up North that the form <county> and <girl> would be a suitable gaaboard title?

Downgirl is the best. I thought it was a command out of Barbara Wodehouse.

... and it'd be enough to get her into the Down panel.

She wouldn't make the Down panel but if she was a cheat she'd probably make the Meath panel

Dont wanna ruin yer fun, but the simple answer is other counties have there own forums.....
We have our own as well,we just need as many channels to complain about POR as possible. Cheaper than therapy.

Meath gaaboard members punch above their football weight.

Lack of interest pure and simple. Fionan, the site admin has suspended activities but hasn't deleted the board. Like the ghost of Gearoid Iarla in Kildare, he is awaiting the call to arms once more.

More a hurling forum really though. Not too much football talk on it.

You do?
I thought you'd believe anything.
It sure looks that way when you believe that Meath are uip there amongst the likes of Cork and Kerry.

Cork and Kerry are good manly counties like us.
You wouldn't catch any of them dying their hair or wearing white boots.
It's interesting that the counties that dislike/fear us the most are Tyrone and Mayo, both of whom need two buses to travel to every game.
One to carry the players and one to carry their hair gel.
If you were any use you'd be playing.
