Story sounds great and all that, but I see is family are all still working in ordinary jobs, so it doesnt look like he gave them anything.   "Money means nothing to me"  but maybe it meant something to his close family.  He could have spared them a bit doe and blew the rest, so a bit of a ballbag for that

He wouldn't be a classic gambling addict. He says money means nothing to him and has no fear of losing it. This makes him a dangerous animal in the gambling game and allows him to play high stakes games without fear.
