I wonder would that be technically possible and/or legal?

Probably neither. There is often significant network congestion in the neighbourhood of big games, where 30,000 people are in a restricted area covered by a single cell.
couldn't be legal either - I imagine tv3 or rte have the rights for every game whether they show it or not.  Also, the quality would be awful, between shaky hands and a tiny view, maybe be better to just focus on the scoreboard!

I know Tyrone have not had any games shown on any of the southern channels this year live.

Are there any other teams still in the championship who haven't?

Heard Marty Morrissey nearly had a canary when Kildare went 3 points up in extra time. Jumping out of his seat like a true Lilywhite supporter. Believe he was slightly deflated at the finish. So much for the impartiality of the TV commentator.

Don't remember what Marty was saying, but I do remember McStay roaring like a bull when Donegal's winning point went over!

Coverage was fine on Sunday. As a check i tried the RTE player for 5 minutes during the 2nd half of the Limerick Kerry game and it was grand. Most operators will have updated their networks at this stage to account for high population densities ..... 6 and 9-sector cells and if needed they can 're-home' cells on a temporary basis for the day of big match..... although Irish operators don't seem to do this later bit so much and hence occasional congestion on some of the networks.

Yet another example of the lack of professionalism by RTE journalists. Do they bother to check their stories or is it just a case of creating a stir by saying McMenamin isn't in the squad? In saying that they cant' be too au fait when they missed the fact that according to their info then Stephen O'Neill won't feature on the bench either.

Was any one watching the Camogie today?  The camera was on the Cusack stand and it seemed be closer to the action.  Was it a trick of the eye?

Is it time for RTE to get a bit more provincial with analysists? Naturally, O'Rourke and Spillane would not know the players coming through and like most only know the household personalities. They are also far removed from the feeling on the ground and various local issues!
