There is nothing in the rules stopping a manager being paid.

Why would county boards state what they pay them? Do soccer clubs say how much they pay their staff?

Wy do you say that dublinfella? Just curious. I think Padraic Duffy needs to be told this so he can stop wasting his time. Is there a particular wording in the rulebook around the amateur status that can be tweaked for this?

If there were, to be honest I think the GAA would have approved payments for managers years ago.
