New Spot the Ball competition?
I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...

Just shows the danger of playing without shin-pads

I dont know whats funnier McAteer considered as a liverpool legend or Cluxton decking him.
Looks a bit staged to me.

Also interested to hear his reasons for posting that.

Jinxy

I too would also like to hear the reason.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Hound

The picture doesnt tell the story that the punch was thrown in retaliation for a head butt by McAteer (which was in response to a foul by Cluxton!)

Another All Star for Cluxton.

I would agree with snoopdog, that is bad behaviour at a charity game.

Jinxy

I wouldn't care if I was playing an exhibition game in front of the Pope and Queen Lizzy.
If someone headbutts me, he's going down!
If you were any use you'd be playing.

There's some different versions of the story now:

- One is that McAteer did a cynical foul on Cluxton who'd got by him, a bit of argy/bargy (no headbutt) and ended with the left hook.

- Another is that it was all staged.

Why would you stage something like that at a charity match?  :D
