BBC iplayer - How do you watch it down here?

It said you can watch any downloaded content "abroad" on holidays so I imagine it is the same in the south.

I'm trying to watch a video clip that I'd like to be able to see on the BBC website but I keep getting a message saying 'Media selection request failed'
I tried a few other videos and some work others don't.

There is a program called Tor that when running hops you off another Tor user to show your source address as being in another country. This lets you watch BBC player in the south
