We'd finish them in a few hours.

The slings and arrows of Meath

by John Millington Singe

To Ballivor, or not to Ballivor: that is the question:
Whether 'tis Nobber in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous Ballinabrackey,
Or to take arms against the sea off Bettystown,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of Meath what dreams may come
"As I get older I notice the years less and the seasons more."
John Hubbard

I saw a child in Ghana once , wearing a Portumna foroige t-shirt. There is a lot of dumping of unwanted Western clothes in the Third World.

The first picture from the bbc link of the woman without a nose is haunting.

Hmm ... I don't think much of Banty's tactical approach so far.

Brilliant picture, though. It's like one of those old Soviet posters of fellas in heroic pose.

ludermor

That is a classic photo, along with the lad in the wheelchair with the Tyrone jersey in some other war ravaged area ( Georgia?) it shows we are never too far away from conflict!

Bord na Mona man

That picture was taken the night of the Leinster final.

Id say that top was stolen from an irish backpacker!

We would just have to use the nuclear option, turn on the giant fans at Ballyhaunis point east and gas them out of it.
Time to take a more chill-pill approach to life.
