Derry 0-11 1-08 Louth HT
I'm gonna show you as gently as I can how much you don't know.

Maguire01

Monaghan 2 up at half time - 0-08 to 0-06. Monaghan conceded 3 quick points (all scored by Conroy) in the final few minutes of that half.

Armagh on 5 points. Cork on 5 points. If Cork lost v Mayo and next day v Dublin, and Cork and Armagh finish on 5 points, who would go down? Because the Armagh/Cork match was a draw.

It would be decided on scoring averages.

Woul rather Cork lost tbh. Mayo have two games left to play, so they have more control over wether they stay up or go down than what Cork have. Yet again, Armagh are going to have to rely on Dublin again.

Nah, a Cork win is definitely the best result for us. Cork and Mayo only come into it for us if we lose next weekend, so they only come into it if we finish on five points. Cork already have five points, and after our tanking in Croker, also have a far superior score average so would finish ahead of us anyway. Mayo only have four points, so a defeat today, followed by two further defeats, would be our best hope.

I am basing it on Corks form, but after seeing the score there I think they are just pissin about in the league.

Mayo fans must be raging if they lose this. Cork are down to 14 and are now leading. Mayo just cant seem to make the numerical advantage count.
