Ahead of brian mcguigan & ricey??? really??

each to their own i suppose

Yes, although had I been doing this exercise three or four years ago, both would have figured. I would rate Crozier, McKernan, Rafferty, Miskella , Kissane, Fitzgerald and Sice as better than McMenamin and the forwards as being better than McGuigan (as it would appear does Mickey Harte with Penrose).

Sure, neither are guaranteed starters any more with Tyrone - I would have had to list everyone who is before including the two boys.

Nothing personal, if I was picking a team of the last decade McGuigan would be an automatic choice and only my penchant for sportsmanship would exclude Ricey. However, I'm not.

Seeing that the top 100 is based on their career rather than where they currently stand, then Aidan O'Mahony should feel hard done by to not make the list. He was one of the top backs from '04 to '08, 4 All-Ireland medals, 2 All-stars, MOTM in the '06 All-Ireland final, great performance in '04 AI as well.

None of the following would make my list:

23 R McMenamin
28 T O'Sullivan
34 B McGuigan
37 T Freeman
52 D Harte
58 G Connaughton
61 M McGrath
65 P Finlay
67 T Griffin
70 P McConnell
76 C Mortimer
77 C Harrison
79 P Kerrigan
81 B Owens
82 D Freeman
90 P Hearty
92 D Clerkin
94 D Clarke
97 D Casey
98 D Tubridy
99 B Grogan
100 T Mortimer

Indeed, but you'll struggle to find 22 replacements.
And if you can't find 22 replacements then they are the top 100!
