Can't understand the appeal of McIntyre - not remotely funny.

Went to see David O'Doherty last week at Queen's - brilliant (and a lot cheaper!).
I have never even cracked a smile at any DO'D tv appearance. I can only assume his standup act is higher quality than his tv output.
I've seen his stand-up a good few times now - always good. Check out YouTube clips. The show last week was a good bit different to previous shows, but close to a 2-hour set.

Went to see Jimeoin in newry on Friday night, brilliant night in small venue. Very funny man

Denn Forever

Not Stand up but Morecambe and Wise on tomorrow night on Gold at 9pm.  Still find them funny.
I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...

The best duo ever, never mind what 5 Sams says/ :)

Best solo, the one and only Dave Allen.

Best stand up ever - Dylan Moran.
Best stand up for the mentally challenged - Bob Monkhouse (aka Jimmy Carr).
Best stand up for the "sense of humour" challenged - Jason Byrne.
Anyone paying to see Des Bishop, John Bishop - or any Bishop - needs to get a life.
Fierce tame altogether

And anyone paying to see Michael McIntyre needs a hefty kick in the bollix.

Lee Evans is decent, Lee Mack aswell for his dry humour.

Is Rich Hall worth going to ???

He's gigging locally next year and was considering purchasing a ticket.

Imho, live, there was no-one to touch the late great Bob Monkhouse. (Smarmy and all as he was).

Tommo2

I saw paddy kielty last week on tv. It was brutal. He seems to have the same routine and material for the past 10 yrs. All the same old crap about the troubles, Catholics and Protestants. I used to like him as well!

I was the exact same at Electric Picnic, AFS. I wanted to like him but I can't think of a gig that was less funny than him. I feckin missed Patti Smith waiting on him too the tube. Kevin McAleer was side-splittingly good though
