Sorry Ros, didn't see them ones. The 47 final is quite a good one to look at as you can see what is happening much better than the 48 or 49 one. Football was a totally different game back then!

I'm starting a petition to have the 1949 AI Final replayed. Meaths goal came about by the goal keeper being slide tackled when bending down for the ball. Surely even in 1949 this should have been a free out. As this was Meaths 1st All-Ireland this petition could have far reaching implications for all further wins especially 1987 and 1988.
We could stage a double header- 1949 All-Ireland final replay and the 2010 Leinster final replay.

First name- Boojangles
Now form an orderly queue.

Jeekers, didn't realise how close Armagh got in '53. I'm sure Hardy was sweating at the pitch "invasion"!!
